Installation Guidelines for Thin Film Greenhouses

Thin films play a significant role in the production and development of plants, providing them with sunlight, water, and temperature. As one of the main covering materials for greenhouse films, agricultural films naturally have transparency, insulation, and anti drip properties as their main physical indicators. To ensure the functionality of agricultural film, attention should be paid to the following issues when installing and using agricultural film:

1. The greenhouse film must be stored in a shaded and dry place before installation and use, and must not be exposed to sunlight or rain. If installed in winter, it is advisable to place the agricultural film at room temperature (2-3 degrees Celsius) before installation to reduce the aging of the greenhouse film.

2. In the structure of the greenhouse, iron and metal wires should be electroplated, and dirty and rusty components should not be used. At the same time, it is necessary to reduce the use of exposed metal wires and sharp corners to prevent tearing of the greenhouse film.

3. During installation, the agricultural film must be tightened and leveled to avoid affecting its use. Greenhouse films generally have various functions such as transparency, insulation, anti dripping, and anti dust accumulation. However, if installed improperly, they cannot perform their intended functions and can seriously affect their service life.

4. Film should not be installed when the temperature is too high, as the film expands due to heat, and when the temperature decreases, the film will shrink, causing fracture and tearing. Once a rupture occurs, repair it with adhesive tape to avoid affecting the function of the agricultural film.
